Due to our project kids activity today 6-1 will be taking their science quiz tomorrow.
Students in 6th-Grade will be taking a science test on Monday October 31, and Friday Nov. 4th.
Students in 6th-grade will be taking a math test this week. Students have been given a math study sheet for the test. Students will be receiving grades for the topic 2 quiz soon. Many students chose to do retakes and we are working our way through that.
6th-Grade will be going on a field trip on October 24th. We will be going to the Cole Land Transportation Museum. Don't forget to pack a lunch!
We will have science quiz in 6th-grade on Friday October 14th.
6th-Graders will be taking the math NWEA test on Wednesday, October, 5th.
6th-Graders our project due date is September 16th. That is this Friday. Please make sure that your paragraph is typed and attached to the google classroom assignment.
Welcome back 6th-graders. I hope that you have all had a wonderful summer. I hope everyone got to rest and go on some adventures. I am looking forward to the next school year and I hope you are too. I hope to see you many of you at open house. Enjoy the last few days of summer vacation!
this is a reminder that our planet projects will be due next week on Tuesday June 7th. this includes your poster and paper. WE have been working on this in class.
Today we are starting our planet project. You will choose a planet from our solar system. After choosing a planet you will be responsible for writing a paper and making a physical representation of your planet. When you are making your planet you can be as creative as you want! You can make your planet however you choose. Some students even make their planets out of cake.
Below is a rubric for your project. It will explain everything you need to do in order to do well on this project.
