Today we are starting our planet project. You will choose a planet from our solar system. After choosing a planet you will be responsible for writing a paper and making a physical representation of your planet. When you are making your planet you can be as creative as you want! You can make your planet however you choose. Some students even make their planets out of cake. Below is a rubric for your project. It will explain everything you need to do in order to do well on this project. ![]()
6th-Graders will be taking NWEAS next week starting Tuesday May 10th. Students in 6th grade will also be taking a math test covering Topic 7 in class on Wednesday May 11th and Thursday May 12th.
This is a reminder that the 4,000 footers assignment on google classroom is due Monday, Moy 2, at midnight.
6th-Graders will be taking two quizzes this week. A math quiz on Tuesday April 26th, and Friday April 29th.
6th-Graders will be taking a math test on March 31st. Students have math review pages that they are able to review. These pages can be found on page 378 in the 6th-grade math book.
6th-graders are taking a science quiz this week. A study guide will be passed out tomorrow.
6th-Graders have moved on to topic 6 in their math books. Topic 6 is all about percents. I have attached a math home connection PDF to this post that gives an explanation of the kinds of things we will be working on in math class. ![]()
