Dear Parents and Students,
I am sure many of you are wondering what "school" will look like moving forward with our extended closure. Presently I have been using google classroom to collect student work and make contact with students. Google Classroom has worked well for keeping track of students work. Google Classroom is also an easy way to communicate with students. My goal is to be able to hear from every study everyday through google classroom. This may be answer " The question of the day" or responding to a prompt. It will be important for students to check their email and their google classroom everyday. I will be checking my email and google classroom during certain times. I will have "office hours" much like a college professor. This is a time for students and parents to contact me. Parents I would also like to be able to communicate with you on a daily basis. I am hoping that this will be daily updates on my teacher website here. The staff at CDS are continuing to meet and communicate. We are finding ways to move forward and create meaningful education during this time. I will be posting more updates to this website and google classroom. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Classroom Assignments and 2 weeks off
Hello 6th graders,
Math and science work can be found on google classroom. Please do your work in a notebook or google document. When you are doing math please show your work. If you are doing your math in a notebook or on a piece of paper please label each lesson and question. If your papers are all organized that will make it much easier for me to check when you return back to school. Please make sure you do not share any documents with me. When working on science or math please upload your work to google classroom.
Science can all be completed in google documents. Math can be completed in a notebook or on scrap paper. Please keep your math papers organized in a folder or notebook. This will make it easier to check your work when you return to school.
